A specific gear, piston, drive, or mechanism to be present within the work.

Tabletop (40–60 cm), floor-standing (80–140 cm), or an object scaled to the space.

Metal, brass, patina, custom colour. Each layer transforms the character of the work.

Kymera arises from the tension between body and machine. Between silence and mechanism. Between what is alive, and what has been placed within the living.
The foundation of each sculpture is carved wood. Into it, cogwheels, pistons, drives, and further mechanical elements are surgically implanted. The entire work then receives its final surface — metal, brass, patina, or colour according to the collector's wishes.
